Photographs from the collections

The Museum holds a fascinating collection, many aspects of which relates to Barnet life. It houses everything from archaeological remains to a padded cell door, a collection of domestic paraphernalia to paintings of Barnet pubs, and a fine costume collection. The Museum also houses an extensive archive of books, press cuttings, photographs, manuscripts, prints, maps and ephemera.

Donations to Our Collections

The Museum welcomes donations to its collections that fall into the following categories:

•  Related to the history and development of Barnet
•  Costumes and Textiles
•  Domestic Items, eg. food preparation and cooking, laundry, household cleaning
•  Commemorative China
